Description

These homemade meatballs combine ground beef and pork with Parmesan, garlic, parsley, egg, and a soft bread-and-water mixture that helps keep them tender. Mix just until the ingredients come together, then form evenly sized balls rather than packing the mixture tightly. A quick skillet sauté gives the meatballs browned exteriors while the centers stay juicy. The recipe makes roughly 22 to 24 meatballs, so it is useful for a family meal or a batch to freeze. Add them to tomato sauce, tuck them into subs, serve with pasta, or put them out as an appetizer.
